fatal recollections

fatal recollections
this MoFo(mobile photo) is the left-overs of Tsunami's fury at Kuerk Kak beach, near Khao Lak, S. thailand. It is in this area that i understand the most fatalities occurred in this country. This is really shocking to me a survivor-witness to the destruction through-out S. Thailand's Andaman region, because this is a small beach area in comparison to Patong, kamala or Khao Lak proper, who entertain more tourist @ high-season by far.. Khuk Khak, houses the Tsunami Museum and Phuket constructed the Tsunami Cemetery 60kms south of Khao Lak, near Sarasin Bridge and the Phuket Gateway. My shell collecting was an uplifting experience of beauty and wonder that opened a new horizon for the creations of the Seas. For hours i was enchanted by discoveries of many shapes, colors, sizes and species of living and decaying shell life. Then it dawned on me the fury that must have occurred with the large waves densely ladden with shells of all sizes and deadly shapes with jagged edges. This was for me a frightful reality.. Just the thought... Yet it had no effect on the joy and enlightenment i recieved from performing this task.
